Yes — and we intend to keep it that way. We earn revenue when staffing agencies and facilities successfully fill assignments through our platform. You will never be charged for jobs, reviews, community, or core income tracking. Optional concierge relocation services and CPA-marketplace introductions may carry a fee, but they will always be clearly priced and opt-in.
This is the most important question, and the answer is published in our editorial policy: commercial relationships do not influence review visibility, ranking, or moderation. Agencies cannot pay to remove reviews. They cannot pay for placement above peer-rated assignments. Every review carries a verified-credential badge, and our moderation rules are public.
At signup we verify your NPI number against the public CMS registry, then run a one-time identity match (government ID + selfie via a HIPAA-compliant verification partner). After verification, you choose a pseudonym for the public side of the platform. Only a small audit team can re-link a pseudonym to a real identity, and only under strict circumstances such as a valid legal subpoena.
APPadap is not a covered entity, and the platform is structurally designed so that providers do not enter Protected Health Information. Income is tracked by case type and assignment — never by patient. Forum posts that include PHI are removed by our moderators. For any data category that touches HIPAA-adjacent information, we follow HIPAA-aligned controls (encryption at rest and in transit, audit logs, access controls) even where not legally required.
No. Your contact info is never sold or surfaced to recruiters by default. You apply to assignments through the partner agency on your terms. If you opt in to direct messages from a specific agency, you can revoke that at any time.
